Pharmaceutical industry veterans Jim McGuire and Patricia Strandboge have founded Targeted Performance Partners, LLC, a sales training and development company serving the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

The Company provides sales training consulting and management for companies with limited sales training capabilities, programs in print or on the Web, and workshops facilitated by its own or the clients trainers. One of Targeted Performance Partners' proprietary programs is Targeted Pharmaceutical SellingTM, a selling skills program designed specifically for pharmaceutical sales.

Jim McGuire and Patricia Strandboge, founders and managing partners, have nearly 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and expertise in a broad range of therapeutic areas. McGuire has a varied background in the pharmaceutical industry, including positions in sales training and development, marketing, sales and human resources at Celltech Pharmaceuticals. Most recently, as Director of Sales Training and Development, McGuire managed training programs in support of four product launches and a sales force expansion from 100 to 400 Sales Representatives. He is also former Marketing Manager for Celltech.

Patricia Strandboge is a former Manager of Sales Training and Development and National Sales Trainer for Celltech Pharmaceuticals, as well as a former field sales representative. Patricia has developed and delivered comprehensive training programs in support of product launches, sales force expansions, field sales management expansions, and management development initiatives. She also has extensive experience establishing and managing successful teams of field-based and in-house sales trainers.
